Seeking to capitalize on the growing commercial space market, National University in San Diego, California, announced this month plans to offer a Masters in Business Administration (MBA) focused on space commerce, the first such MBA program.
The 12-month program will include core business courses as well as space law, financing space ventures, and other space business topics. While it will initially be taught on National University’s campus, “we anticipate the program being so popular we will offer it online as a part of National s Global MBA,” explained professor Thomas Matula, lead faculty for the space commerce program.
